Description

 
Place: Family run winery located in the Marche region, just 10 km from the Adriatic Sea, between the green hills of the hinterland, with a unique microclimate extremely important to get excellent wines and oils.

 

Exposition: Southwest

 

Altitude: 160 mt. above sea level.

 

Soil: very clayey and rich in minerals, therefore very fertile. Composed of sand and clay with a percentage of 10% of humus

 

Buildings: farmhouse (300 sqm) + outbuilding used as a winery and olive press (763 sqm) + dependance (24 sqm).

 

Surface covered: 1,100 smq. approx.

 

Farmhouse: completely renovated with high quality fittings and materials. Equipped with burglar-proof glazing and shutters lockable. Earthquake-proof.

  • Ground Floor: entrance hall, dining room with wood stove, kitchen, bathroom, winter garden, study, laundry room, storage room and covered terrace;
  • First floor: living room, library, 3 bedrooms, bathroom with sauna, storage room.

 

Winery: built in the years 2000-2004 with Swiss precision (earthquake-resistant reinforced concrete structure, 13 x 17 m). Equipped with advanced equipment and machinery. It offers all the space and necessary and modern infrastructure to produce a wine of high quality.

  • Basement floor: barrel cellar with oak barrels of 30 hl - 15 hl and barrels of 225 l; area with steel tanks; storage of equipment; cellar for storage of bottles; bottling area subject to strict hygiene rules and according to the latest technologies; washing area.
  • Ground floor: enoteca, 2 double rooms with bathrooms, archive, laboratory, workshop, garage with sectional doors, shed for machinery and tractors equipped with gate.
  • First floor: grapes drying room, loft and office.

 

Dependance: Garden house (6 meters x 4 meters) with forecourt, equipped with a wood burning stove with oven for cooking meals and pizza.

 

Land: 7 hectares of agricultural land including:

  • 3.9 hectares of vineyards on the type DOC and IGT;
  • 1.3 hectares of olive groves;
  • 0.4 hectares of orchard.

 

Grape varieties: Sangiovese, Merlot, Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Bianco.

 

Production:

  • Wine DOC Red Piceno, IGT Marche Red, IGT Marche Merlot, IGT Marche Cabernet Sauvignon, IGT Marche Rosè, IGT Marche Sangiovese white;
  • Sparkling wine of grapes Pinot Blanc;
  • Extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed and filtered with cotton gauze to ensure precious minerals and a tight low acid;
  • Green olives marinated;
  • Black olives marinated;
  • Baked figs.
