Place: Historic SPA Resort of 1800 with private park and thermal center, located in an exclusive position, in the middle of one of the most famous thermal spa towns in Europe, Abano Terme, in the pedestrian zone.

  • First and second floor: entertainment venues, terraces, guest rooms.

 

Building No 1: In northeast direction develops a rectangular building with 4 floors above ground.

Building No 2: Also from the main building you, in a westerly direction, a rectangular building of three floors above ground.

Thermal building No 1: Parallel to the building No 3 and connected to it via a covered walkway to the ground floor, stands the thermal building consists of three floors above ground. The Thermal Centre is equipped with all the necessary premises for the performance of thermal treatments: surgeries for medical consultations, rooms for beauty treatments and for massages, saunas, tubs for the application of sludge, over the facilities needed to support the thermal. In detail: the maceration tanks for mud, works for the collection and distribution of thermal water (wells), etc.

Thermal building No 2: Is an extension in an easterly direction of the thermal building No. 1 and consists of 2 floors.

Abano Terme

 

Abano Terme, the most important and oldest thermal center in Europe, stands in an enchanting location at the feet of the Euganean Hills and in the center of the Veneto region. It's name comes from the Greek “à ponos”, which means that it takes away pain. The name of the city, therefore, already gives away its true vocation.

 

The Euganean Basin hot springs are ancient waters that flow at a temperature of approximately 87°C after a decade-long underground voyage from the Lessini Mountains (the Prealps). During the course of this journey at a 2000-3000 metre depth, the water becomes enriched with minerals; its composition makes it a precious thermal resource of exceptional therapeutic value. The Euganean Basin hot springs are classified as salt-bromo-iodic hyperthermal springs with fixed residue at 180°C of dissolved salts per litre.

 

Balneotherapy uses spring water and its properties to help prevent and treat various health problems.

Thermal water works through different mechanisms such as:

• thermic stimulation;

• intervention on different functional valves;

• modification of basal metabolism.

The chemical physical characteristics of the water, along with the myorelaxing and antigravity actions, help movements, tissue compression and the venous and lymphatic flow. Furthermore the thermal water supports the lipolysis (fat reduction), combining the warm temperature benefits with the physical exercise.
