Description

 
Place: Former Capuchin monastery of end '500 it surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, perched on a hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno. Carefully restored and turned into an elegant mansion.

 

Altitude: 350 mt. above sea level.

  • Upper Floor: 5 bedrooms including the Owner’s Suite (comprises of a study with wood burning fireplace, living room with dining table, separate king bedroom, also with wood burning fireplace and large screen TV with multi-region DVD player; the ensuite bathroom, with separate WC, has a private terrace overlooking the walled gardens and Lake Trasimeno), Family Suite (with king bed plus adjacent bunk room (for two children, perfect for pre-teens) and twin-bedded Children’s room.

 

Library building: In addition to featuring the Convento’s galleried library and living room with rebuilt Renaissance wood burning fireplace and games room with billiard table. It also houses the principal dining room, which can seat up to 34 guests, adjacent wine cellar and the main kitchen (with a chef’s table that can seat ten). Located within the Library building is also the Convento’s private cinema in addition to a small terraced apartment with queen bed.
