Description

 
Location: The village is situated on a hillside overlooking the Tiber Valley a short walk from the village of Ripalvella and just 6 miles from the town of Marsciano. Ripalvella itself has a bar and a small foodstore. It is within easy reach of Rome (95 miles), Florence (106 miles), Perugia (25 miles), Assisi (31 miles) and Orvieto (30 miles), all Beautiful historic Italian cities. The view from the village is spectacular, looking out over the Tiber Valley to the hills and mountains beyond and taking in several hilltop towns. There is also a viewing terrace just outside the borgo overlooking this superb view

 

Access: The village is accessed along a short driveway from an asphalt road.

 

Village: This beautifully designed group of apartments is based on the traditional Italian borgo. There are twelve two-bedroom apartments and four one-bedroom apartments and one house within the complex. The architect has built-in many traditional features such as flared walls, niches, copper guttering, and even a tower on one corner. All apartments have traditional beamed ceilings and Sienese cotto floors. The central piazza is reached through three arched passageways and is beautifully terraced and landscaped to provide a wonderful communal space.

Other services (refuse etc) are provided via the Comune of San Venanzo which lies within the region of Terni.
